Letter From the President: Welcome to the Kappa Pi chapter of Alpha Chi Omega! My name is Sophia Stafford and I serve as our Chapter President. I am so happy that you have chosen to visit our website and learn about this wonderful chapter. Since it’s founding in 2012, Kappa Pi has provided women with long-lasting friendships, leadership capability, unforgettable memories, and a place to call home.
When I went through recruitment as a freshman, I was excited to have the opportunity to make new friends and find my nitch at UNCW. Little did I know, this chapter had a lot more in store for me than what I initially had expected. Each year, Kappa Pi has taught me a new lesson and has made me understand more about myself and the people around me. Looking back at my freshman year to now, going into my senior year, it’s crazy to think about how much this organization has shaped me into who I am today. Kappa Pi is a group of unique women who are driven and will always have each other’s backs. It is an organization that stands for women building each other up, and as a collegiate woman it is so important to have that strong of a support system.
If you’re hesitant about going through recruitment, I say go for it. I was too, and now looking back it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.I hope that you enjoy exploring our website and learning more about this incredible organization.
